National Children’s Dental Health Month is celebrated every February and is meant to raise awareness about the importance of oral health for children. Remember these important steps to keep children’s teeth healthy:
• Brush 2 minutes, 2 times a day
• Floss daily
• Limit snacks, eat healthy meals
• Visit your dentist regularly
Also, remember that the American Association of Orthodontics suggest that children be evaluated for orthodontic treatment at the age of 7.
